Vocal "Hut"
My most embarrassing story would have to be at band camp last fall. They do this thing call the March-Off where the 7th and
8th graders are out on the field marching to the calls of the "Drum Major" and if they mess up they're out. The
thing is, is that when the "Drum Major" says "detail atet. hut!" they answer back with "hut".
So anyway, the marching band is about to perform and I'm out there with my flag in parade rest. The drum major calls "detail
atet. hut" and I answered back with "hut!", although everybody else was quiet and just went into attention.
